I’m Kirsty, a graphic designer based in Cumbria with a passion for design and an eye for detail. Specialising in logo design and brand identity, I produce creative design solutions that help you connect with your customers. I love learning all about you and your business in order to create unique designs that represent your personality, goals, and values; helping you gain trust and stand out against your competitors.
For as long as I can remember I’ve always enjoyed creating and making. As an arty and creative individual, who enjoys structure and organisation, graphic design is the perfect fit for me. Clean lines, white space, and organisation are really important elements of my design work, but I also love to inject a business’s personality into my work using distinctive fonts and splashes of colour. My favourite part of my job as a designer is communicating and getting to know the businesses I work with; their values and goals, and creating playful and thoughtful designs.
I have a degree from the University of Cumbria in Graphic Design and over ten years of experience producing creative solutions for a wide variety of businesses. I’ve worked for a global stationery brand designing packaging, marketing materials, and managing social media. I’ve also worked for a local sign-making company producing print-ready designs for signage, vehicle livery, and promotional materials for a variety of different businesses. And most recently as creative lead for a digital agency working on branding projects, website design, digital design and software design.
As I’ve already mentioned, my favourite thing about my job is getting to know all about businesses, so I thought I’d share some things about myself first! On top of design, a few of my favourite pastimes include:
– Spending time with my partner and our two kids
– Walks with my little miniature poodle Max
– Afternoon tea with friends
– Switching off with a run in the lovely Cumbrian countryside
